A conference on "New Studies of Neurobehavioral Evolution" will be held at the National Museum of Health and Medicine, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, in Washington, DC, June 25 - 28, 2010.
This event will feature a number of presentations by prominent scientists on available resources, including specimens and databases; new technologies; and new findings about the co-evolution of bodies, behaviors, and the brains that drive them. A list of confirmed is available on our Presenters page. Many of them will be doing more than just speaking; this will be a somewhat novel conference format, designed for interaction of audience and presenters.
The conference will be part of a tribute to the late Wally Welker, pioneer in the study of evolution of brains and behaviors.
